Or how everytime I visit the UK it feels more difficult to come back here
It's difficult to explain why that weekend was spent in a non-stop state of joy.
In a way, it was like a Biffy Clyro's tune: energy, youth, rythm and hope precisely combined with just the right amount of each ingredient and an extra dose of craziness.
Anyway, pics!
Take me somewhere nice...
At three o'clock there were people waiting outside the Astoria already. Mon the Biffy!
Ok, so which club are we going to tonight?
Let's let cyder decide for us!
The actual gig. It was a Kerrang Tour show. Three horrible bands as supporters (I Am Ghost, The Audition and The Bronx) and then the genius Biffy Clyro. Despite the fact that the supporting acts where so badly chosen, once Biffy hit the stage we realized that feeling was well worth the waiting and patience. And the let's-cross-Europe-to-see-a-band part. The setlist was simply amazing. And they're the most crowd-pleasing band I've ever seen :) (Probably a proper show review will be posted here, in Spanish, in a couple days)
And if the show hadn't been enough... You see, it seems it was our lucky night. And they're the nicest musicians we've ever met -together with their friends Oceansize.
Mon the Biffy!
Mr Pepper and me queueing for Koko.
Koko Club is probably the best disco I've stepped into -and will step into- in my whole life. I have no words to describe how amazing that theatre-style venue will labyrinthic floors and red velvet carpets and cool music is. Plus, the drinks were not expensive. Plus, there were live shows in the middle of the disco session. Plus, Biffy Clyro were the guest DJs that night. How cool is that?
Dizzy love at Koko.
Le Cristian, Le Jack, le fat-armed me! At Koko. (I know I'm soon going to regret posting this picture here...)
PS: Also... Barcelona-based Biffy Clyro fans, I think you should know they told us they plan to visit us on tour in April-May :)
PS2: All pics taken with Jack's camera. Some of them by him, one by me... one by self-timer lol
