Just to clarify the point: I am terrified of needles. The last time I had a neddle in my being, I passed out and I couldn't even feel it because they had numbed my hand.
I went to give blood for the first time today. I got all the way to lying down on the bed, shaking, not able to really speak for nerves, and they decided to inform me at this point that I c an't do it because I have the smallest patch on eczema on my arm and they couldn't find my veins because they're too far in my body that they tlel me then I can't do it.
There is no piece of information at ANY point on the hundreds of things they give you to say that if you have eczema on your amrs that you can't do it. I am so fucked off.
Mainly because I got so worked up about it that I've been feeling sick all day.
I am angry and upset. I've beenwanted to do it for ages and now I can't and they told me not to bother coming back because chances are I won't be able to do it again.
Whatever.
Fuck you NBS, make it clearer int he future and stop asking me if I have HIV, do you think I would even TRY and donate if I had HIV? Twats. I'm so annoyed.
