My dad had a boat when I was little. It was probably a lot smaller than yours.. a classic 1959 Higgins ski-boat that he'd restored. It was absolutely beautiful, but he destroyed the bottom hitting a log in the river...

I've always loved the water... and the beach...

Ours is a 1985 32-foot Wellcraft cabin cruiser. Or, The Houseboat, for short.
We dock in on a bay, and I have the greatest view of the sunset from the top.

L. yeah, you really deserve that boat this summer. You've put in some hard time. Is there any way your husband could set a goal of getting it in by August 1st? That gives you two months, if September counts where you are. It just isn't right for a nice boat to sit dry all season. Like the old Eagle man says, "There's just so many summers, and so many springs."

And Bruce's "Tunnel of Love"? I don't like to admit how much more relevent that song is to me every year.

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't done shit any weekend this summer.

That's funny, The Doors' "People Are Strange," always reminded me of me. I wish you a good weekend.
