im reading my anthro textbook right now. i thought the lactose intolerance level for asians was @ 80%...very high already. but it's supposedly 95-100% for "asian americans." crazyyy. why is it that i dont know any lactose intolerant asians? maybe we're just unaware...
i've always wondered if i was, but i don't think my parents are. i hate the taste of plain milk. there are a lot of tests--the simplest is to not eat anything at night and just have a big glass of milk in the morning and nothing else for a bit. i'd try it, even tho it sounds very unappetizing, if we HAD milk.
on the other hand, for "US whites," it's at 2-19%.
