Character Information
Name: Lenalee Lee
Fandom: D.Gray Man

Timeline Summary: Right before Lulubell appears as a dragon…So the very later chapters.
Personality:
Lenalee is an optimistic, caring girl, who will go out of her way to protect her friends. Her only remaining family is her brother, Komui, who suffers from extreme sister-complex, a flaw Lenalee deals with notably well. Because of the loss of (most) of her family, she has come to regard the Black Order as her family instead. Even the death or injury of strangers makes her emotional. Her biggest fear, portrayed through her dreams, is seeing the Order destroyed, and all those she once knew-gone. Despite being loyal to the Order and its cause, she has a deep loathing for it, as it put her through hell of sorts when she was first brought into it. It was implied on various occasions that she was forced to join, rather than it being her personal decision. Her innocence, in its dormant state, takes the form of two red bangles around her ankles. Once activated, it turns to dark crimson boots going past her knees, and allowing her to gain good height, as well as one hell of a kick.

Overall, the girl as tough as she is smart. She is perceptive, and careful, as well as caring and kind.

First Person:

Hey! You two…why don’t you just try and talk it out for once?! /sigh/ Honestly-

-HEY Kanda, put Mugen away! Allen, you idiot!

O-oh. I give up.

Third Person: Another mission…Lenalee sighed, looking over to the newly recruited exorcist, a young, loud and obnoxious (even for her tolerant nerves) boy, with a gem in his forehead. She was recently placed under General Nyne and promptly sent on assignment.

Obviously, she accepted without a second thought. Except, maybe hoping that all those she cared for, all those she came to call her friends, and in a way, family, would stay safe. It was a thought that always crossed her mind as she left for missions.

Her thoughts drifted to the Order. She wondered, hoped that Kanda wouldn’t skewer Allen in half, that Komui wouldn’t induce another zombie apocalypse, that Lavi and Bookman would be fine…

To her it was still a mystery how that red haired bookman got away with as much as he has with Kanda. Or how Kanda and Allen haven’t murdered each other yet. It was actually amusing, and heartwarming, in its own weird way. They really were a family or sort, a dysfunctional one at that. The thought made Lenalee smile. Despite her personal grudge against the Order, she wouldn’t trade in the life she had now. Not ever.

The comforting thoughts of her friends were replaced by darker ones, as they too often were. She wanted to protect them as much as she could. But she was still exceptionally weak, despite the evolution of her DarkBoots…and so her good mood turned bitter.

These thoughts were abruptly derailed by a sharp roar that echoed in the distance. Lenalee snapped out of her reverie, flinching, her body automatically tensing, ready to activate her Innocence. Her eyes searched for the source, her comrades uneasy as well.

What the hell was that? Her question, although not voiced, was answered as a large dragon appeared, leathery skin glinting in the dim light, its colossal shape settling on a nearby ruin. A Noah. One look and Lenalee automatically knew. A Noah, the shapeshifter…oh no…no. She clenched her teeth, hands forming to fists, darkboots activating as crimson coated her lean legs. She jumped away just in time to avoid a sudden attack from the Noah. She landed on stone, only to realize too late as to how cumbersome it was. As it shattered beneath her minuscule weight, she yelped, unable to react in time. And down she fell. The rest…was darkness.
