Or are you just trying to find a way to get around having to mate with Gabriel? For though he seems like quite the pushy male, I believe what he does he thinks is good for the pack.
When you Change you get the feeling of beauty in its truest form, you feel so connected to everything.. That is what we Pagan's do also, but we do it by strict meditation and focusing of our powers. If we were to just come out in the open and start doing out rituals and spells in front of people we would be hunted and killed just like in the past.
What needs to be understood is that mankind isn't as ready as we think he is for such changes, man is something that can not accept change unless they can experiment on it and try and find out what causes the differences.
As for Rafe and Astird I would stay away from them if possible, even if they say they are doing things for your own good. Just remember that what they do is not for you but to make themselves seem better in everyone's eyes. Its all a show of power and fear.
Speaking of fear, if when your working and need something to listen to music wise.. I would suggest the Song 'Its the fear' by a band called Within Temptation. I believe if you listen to it, the song is something that would make you think twice before acting as rash as you have..
