"We live in a primitive time, don't we?  Neither savage, nor wise.  Half measures are the curse of it.  Any rational society would either kill me or put me to some use."  --Hannibal Lecter, M.D.

I've decided that Hannibal "the Cannibal" Lecter is my favorite character from film.  Case closed.  Jason and I rented both Red Dragon and Hannibal from ( Read more... )

Actually I think it's the biblical references on the wall that corrupt you. And the palm frond under your mattress. Never forget Damon, HE DIED FOR YOUR SINS!

Did I mention that Jason and I rented and watched The Passion of the Christ, or what we're calling "the P O the C?"

Here's a quickie:

Damon: Mom, did Jason tell you that we rented a snuff film?
Mom: What's a snuff film?
Jason: It's where they film someone getting killed.
Mom: Uh!!! Why in the world would you ever rent something like that?!?
Jason: (leans in) It's called the Passion of the Christ.

MOM is silent. JASON and DAMON erupt into laughter.

Aaaaaaaaaaaboo her!

That is so incredibly...INCREDIBLE! I would die (for your sins) for the opportunity to pull something like that. Not really though.

because MORE THAN ONCE you have commented on Damon's LJ, disgruntled that he forgot to mention yours and his outing in his recollection of his day. Don't even try to deny it! Not that I'm criticizing the action, since clearly I did it myself, but yeah. Next time I'm in town you should come out too! ...Maybe I'll be around for a thursday history day!

Oh, I see now.

Yeah, let me know when you're around next. The health department doesn't let me out in public that often these days, but every now and then I can get free. . .
