Well, hell.
I went to the dentist yesterday, a visit which was long overdue. I have no insurance, so had to wait til we had a bit of money set aside. I knew my teeth were problematical, they always have been. But, I had no idea they would be problematical to the tune of $4100.
$4100.
$2192 of which is urgent and needs to be done within a month.
And so, I find myself in a predicament, and am turning to LJ for a miracle. They happen here. A lot. It should be possible to pull one more out of the hat, right?
I am asking you, my dear friends, to boost the signal on this if possible. Feel free to link, repost, tell your friends, whatever. The more people who know, the better the chance we can make this happen.
I'm listing here the skills I have, that can be used to raise this appalling sum of money. If any of ya'll have other ideas, please please let me know.

I did readings professionally in New Orleans for many years. Many of the people on my friends list can attest to the accuracy of my readings. I use the William Blake tarot deck, but will use the Rider Waite if you prefer. I'm keeping my prices very low in the hopes of attracting greater volume.

$15 for an in-depth reading
$40 for a detailed overview of the coming year

Also: I have a very lovely sapphire and diamond necklace and matching earrings, valued at approximately $3200, that I would be happy to sell, since I don't wear jewelry. These pieces were custom designed for me by my grandfather from Ina's in Beverly Hills.
