(no subject)
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is my first day of work here. I am pretty excited and anxious, to say the least.
So, it's located kind of far away, and I want to buy a new iPod to make the commute less shitty (with music, podcasts, books on tape, maybe even a learn to speak Italian thing?). Should i get an 8gb nano for $199 or an 80gb classic for $50 more (total $249). I don't really think I need 80 gigs on an iPod, but it's like, I could have ten times as much space for only $50 more? That sounds pretty rad.
Can anyone offer any advice here? Does anyone even care? My portable cd player got stolen and my current iPod is 5+ years old and I can't transfer new music onto it because the battery dies so quickly....
Regardless of that, check out my new job!!!!!!!!! I think it's going to rule. When I get settled, friends should plan a day trip to pick-your-own fruits, vegetables and flowers/herbs on the farm. WOULDN'T THAT BE CUTE!?
Also, I got new glasses and am very excited about them. AND, I've been making vegan cupcakes almost every week. Recent flavors include:
-Chocolate Mint with Mint Frosting
-Chocolate with Peanut Buttercream Frosting
-Chocolate with Toasted Coconut Frosting
-Chai Latte with Toasted Pecans and Buttercream Frosting
-Vanilla with Chocolate Chips and Peanut Buttercream Frosting
-Peanut Butter with Chocolate Ganache
The next ones I want to make are Green Tea with Green Tea Glaze or S'Mores. YUM!
