It's going to be a long 2-4 weeks

The doctor put me on a 'challenge diet' in order to see if I'm sensitive to any foodstuffs. This requires me basically rebooting my system, then adding in foods one at a time to see if I react. So yesterday I began the 'reboot' part of the process.

My Diet For the Next 2-4 Weeks

I can't eat any of the following:
-dairy
-red meat
-pork
-eggs
-wheat
-soy
-potatoes
-tomatoes
-citrus fruits
-sugar (*sigh*)
-artificial sweeteners
-couscous
-peanuts
-eggplant
-shellfish
-barley
-oats
-corn

I can eat sparingly:
-white rice
-chicken
-turkey

I can eat as much as I want:
-fishes (salmon, tuna, trout, etc.)
-vegetables (except as listed above)
-legumes (except as listed above)
-berries (i.e. non-citrus kinds of fruits)
-brown rice
-nuts
-pickles
-olive oil and vineagar for salad dressing
-stezia (a plant sweetener)

I also have 'medical food' that the doctor gave me which is a powder that you dissolve into water twice daily so you don't die of nutrient deficiencies while on said diet. The medical part is certain; the food part is debatable.

...I'm starving

chronic illness is not the way to go, food is delicious
