(no subject)
my car won't start again today. I turnt he key and it just goes dut-dut-dut-dut all day long but it won't start even if I press the gas a little. Grantd, this has happened before, but before it wuld always start again in 30 minutes or an hour later like there hadn't been a problem at all. Yesterday I (thanks god) didn't have to walk to work, which would have taken me forever and I'd have probably been late. I went down and banged on Apt. 5 and there was a guy there that I'd met once ever who took pity on me and gave me a ride.
Work was so fun though, it was the first time I have ever worked on a real line. Before I've always just done buffet-style setups where you make all the food, make some extras and stick it out on the (buffet) line and that was the end. No. This time orders were printing in from the tickets and the head cook was calling them out and I had to do some of the stuff and he had to do the other stuff and we worked together to get them up together. Oh man, that sounds like all I liked was the teamwork, but I've never really worked with someone do put stuff up together (except for Pedro but there it was like he had his stuff that he did and I had my stuff that I did and instead of putting up one plate that I started and he finished it was more like I helped him do his stuff when he was behind and visa versa) and Jules was really really good. If I saw him walking down the street I would not think that he was.
And I worked almost 10 hours yesterday and I wasn't tired at all afterwards which was really friggin awesome. Annnnyway it looks like I should be getting back soon so I can finish emptying out my car so I don't have to worry about people stealing stuff while it's at the mechanic. I hope it's just that the sparkplugs are loose or something and water is getting in there (I do know it has something to do with water because this only happens when it rains) rather than there's a loose bolt somewhere inside the engine and it's getting into the pistons or something. that. would. suck.
