Signal-boosting for the lovely
zingerella:
Want to march in Toronto's Pride Parade this year? Come join us.
Who: All queer-identified folk, of whatever flavour. We're pretty random. (If you're wondering whether this includes you, then yes, it does.)
Where: Meet up at Bloor Street east of Church. Look for the chalk mark on the ground that says "M321".
When: Sunday June 28th, gathering around 1 or 1:30 p.m. for a 2 p.m. start. Do please come early so we can teach you the hand signals the Parade officials will be using to direct traffic.
How: Wear your sunscreen and most fabulous outfit, and come find us. The group numbers will be chalked on the ground. Look for group M321, or the Random Queers banner. Be sure to bring lots of water.
Why: We've all got our own reasons, but here's a good one: because it's a helluva lot of fun, and way less crowded than watching the parade from the crowds.
Note: We will not have a wagon this year, so you'll need to carry everything you bring. Choose wisely, and make sure you include water. I think that's all you need to know, but updates will be posted to our Facebook group
Random Queers.
