What I dreamed about: Tsetse flies, spiders, presents. A game. LOSING!!!!! Parties.
Who/what was in this dream: Brother M, Dad, Aunt M, Mom, K.S., Grandma
Where was I in this dream: First at a party, then at home (but not my real home).
How vivid was this dream: Intense.
Before I fell asleep I ate/drank/medications taken, etc: Chocolate.
Before I fell asleep I watched/read/was thinking about: X-Files
How well did I sleep: Ok, 'til sister woke me up.
Where I slept/environment: Dad's house. Sister woke me up. M.L.'s room.
Events happening in my life: I got girly PJ's and not one thing on my list. Dad's wife thinks I'm immature.
How I think this relates to my dream: I assume the spiders represent my disappointment. The presents, well, we were opening presents. The fly were on X-Files first in the dream and IRL that's what I was watching.
Additional notes, thoughts, interpretations: I'm at a party wrapping Uncle M's gift b/c it became ripped. Aunt M's there. Dad is mad. When I'm done I lay on the couch. Dad wants me to wrap M.L.'s present, but I don't want to. I pretend I'm reading my Bible. I then go upstairs. I find two spiders, I manage to get them into a plastic container. Brother M gets it and chases me with it. He almost opens it on me but I pull away and they fall on the floor. I go back downstairs and have to wrap Uncle M's present AGAIN. Then I wrap M.L.'s. We leave and go from Aunt M's to another party at Grandma's house. There's lots of ppl there, but only me and K.S. wanna play the games. She wins all the prizes. Mom takes me home. I watch the X-Files. It's about a giant tsetse fly. I'm scared and sleep in Mom's bed. The next night I'm cleaning out my closet and there's lots of tsetse flys. I run away from them and tell mom.
