i like it, theyre trying some new things (at least for them) that are pretty fucking cool, and theres definitely a bunch of standout tracks on there. i was kinda wary of what to think at first, but ive decided that it gets a thumbs up. all i was worried about was that it would suck, but it doesn't, so i'm satisfied. they certainly coulda done ALOT worse. i think this'll be a record that grows on people.

precisely, the sound is very different from the debut album, but it's good that there is diversity, why would you want something that sounded the same, for that you go and buy yourself all the godsmack albums... but yeah i know most people will probably hate it at first but it will grow on them like the coheed album did to everyone... which i might say, i was right about it... from the start! hahahhahaha

Ummm most people who liked the first hated the second dude. People who rarely heard the firs loved the second. it happens with every album.
