(no subject)
I just read about Eoin Colfer's new book And Another Thing..., which is apparently to be the sixth installment of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy. Excuse me, what? Is this strictly necessary?
I still don't understand the unending bevy of Pride & Prejudice sequels ("Mr. Darcy, Vampyre"? really?) but at least Austen's been dead for almost two centuries and so have all her original fans. Actually publishing another Hitchikker book just seems... TOO SOON and also WHAT. I mean, I liked Colfer's Artemis Fowl books, they were fun YA adventures, but the whole thing is a bit random. And I don't even remember what happened in Mostly Harmless anyway.
