Most sudden and distressing episode ending everrrr!! It was just like BAM BAM BAM WHITEOUT!
I guess after creating a child vampire last week, Mitchell really needs to think that he's doing a good thing by turning people who are dying. It's got This Won't End Well written all over it, but he did his best to ignore that. It's good that he finally noticed Herrick planned to create a vampire run dystopia, not an all-vamp utopia. (Seriously, what did Mitchell think they would eat, if EVERYONE was a vamp?)
George and Annie "fighting" was hilarious and very much Old School Scoobies Xander and Willow. This show needs more comedy fighting! Also attacking people with chairs needs to be a running gag.
Lauren :/ She had a moment of clarity, but knew it wouldn't last. A nicely heroic end for a conflicted character. Although why didn't Herrick and Co. keep chasing them? Why did they just go back to their apartment rather than hide??
Man, Owen is a real nasty piece of work. I wonder if he's going to "luck out" and get turned into a vampire? He did run into the police station and say he was running from a vampire and well... maybe it will get back to Herrick. Owen the vampire would be awful, although, hey, then they could justify actually killing him!
The knock on the door completely startled me and then I was like MITCHELL DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR, YOU WILL GET STAKED! MITCHELL! DON'T ANSWER THE- WHAT DID I JUST SAY?? Why does no one on TV ever listen to me when I shout at them? I only want to protect them from obvious peril!
Can't believe next week is the last episode! I hope no one dies or moves on and the series gets renewed (and for more than 6 episodes)! This show is so good and has so much potential. It always seems like supernatural stuff has been done to death, and this show doesn't even really have a "twist" on it- it's just well written characters with snappy dialogue dealing with problems. I love it! I want more of it! Here's hoping...
