Yeah, it was pretty good, but I cannot take the increasingly contrived "Veronica ends up alone with the villain" situations. Season 1 was ok. At least she told people where she was going and what was going on. Season 2... well, she thought she was meeting Mac, I guess I can let that go... But this? This "let me just go alone, without telling anyone, to the room where the rapist is going to go, and then GET IN BED AND WAIT FOR HIM"? That's just retarded. I mean, she brought backup to the party! Why the hell didn't she call Mac and Piz when she was leaving? Or call Wallace and Logan and tell them they're on a wild goose chase and need to turn around? There was just no good reason for her not to have told people where she was going. Aaand that kind of ruined the whole episode. Yeah, it was dramatic, but... Eh.
I do <3 Logan though. Him bashing the cop car in the background was awesome. The WTF? followed by the "Ah-ha!" on that was great. I really need a Team Logan icon.
For a minute, I thought they might actually make Dick help. Ah, well.
I did love that Veronica's "perfect murder" victim was Lamb. Hee.
Next mystery: Dean O'Dell isn't actually dead. He's merely been put in a coma! AND HE'S PREGNANT.
