Yes, Perez Hilton AND HuffPo. That's an interesting combination. The comments are fairly interesting as well... Despite the completely different audiences these blogs have, the comments sound fairly similar. Although the Kent State references seem limited to HuffPo. Oh, no, wait, I found one on Perez Hilton. 90% of the comments are just wanky. I've half an urge to post it over at otf_wank, but despite the hilarity of the comments, there's a Serious Issue™ at the heart that doesn't actually need more mockery. I think one of the worst wanky comment may be one by "Joe Stalin" posting on Perez Hilton in response to complaints of racial profiling: "white, blonde sorority girls don't blow buildings. (or have yet to) You can say racial profiling is wrong, but when 95%+ of terrorist acts are caused by young muslim males, you're telling me police officers don't have that in the back of their mind? Ask our soliders who keeps blowing them up. It's not the Tri-Delts; they just blow them." Do you think it's possible to rig up some sort of system that tasers people for being retarded on the internet? I could get behind that.
Aaaand, I think it's time to let the story go, as having any sort of thoughtful, logical reaction to this incident is increasingly difficult the more crazy I read. No more crazy.
