D-Who (Don't call it that.)

Yay! All caught up on series 2. I think I have some general comments.

In order of random thought:

I hope Mickey comes back. I sincerely like Mickey. A lot. I realize it's a "parallel universe" and there's no way to get back, but! But! It's sci-fi. I put nothing past sci-fi.

As a more general question- what do Rose and the Doctor do, normally? Like, when there's not evil monsters about? There's no down time on this show. It's kind of strange. No context of what life (not just adventure) is like with the Doctor. I haven't seen the old series, so perhaps this is just something already established that they're keeping up with. Also, how do they find their adventures? Did I miss something? (I'm a bit vague on the beginning of the new series. I think I missed episode 2.) How do they decide to go? About what percentage of their adventures do we actually get to see? A lot of the episodes are on Earth (production costs, I know) but is that just the tip of the iceberg? Is every day a literal adventure? Some villian to defeat? Do they ever just stay in? The lack of context is seriously starting to bug me. Does Rose have a bed in the TARDIS? What does she eat? Does it have a bathroom? THIS VAGUENESS VEXES ME.

I liked the last episode, Love & Monsters. It reminded me of Andrew's video episode from Buffy s7. What was the Doctor doing in his house when he was a kid? Was that a completely separate adventure? That we don't get to see? Where was Rose? Why was he standing like that?

Apparently I just have a lot of the same questions. Too tired to produce interesting comments.

Torchwood! I'm getting really curious about this. A very vague organization. And an anagram! I love anagrams.

sci-fi
