I too suffered from the baseball blackout. (“The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim”? Stupid fucking name. Pick a city and go with it. God.) I was a bit more than enraged last night, but have since come to terms with it. 1 a.m. isn’t THAT late.
I just have to ask, does UPN even have censors? Anything's ok so long as it's not an egregious breach of FCC codes? I ask because while watching last night this morning, an ad for the local UPN news said "GET IT ON UPN13". So is the double entendre the official station motto?
I actually took some notes, to keep awake & stuff. So I’m just going to type that up & then say some other things I may or may not have thought yet.

“I want you to meet my fluffer.” [The maid doesn’t deserve your sexually deviant, censor eluding flippery, young man! Wallace’s “you are such a tool” look is priceless, though.]
“I guess Dick was too big for him.” [Beaver on why Cerando picked on him. Aw, Beaver…]

Flashback “bone”:
When Veronica asked Logan about “Lucky” I kind of hoped he’d start singing Britney Spears, but we got something even better instead!
When Logan mocks “getting high and playing Halo,” I thought, “Who needs HaLo when you have LoVe?” and realized I’d certainly committed a crime against puns. Gah. (In my defense, when I first saw “HaLo” in the TwoP forum I didn’t realize what it was and thought that suddenly someone was talking about gaming, which would have been awesome.) Also, guys who have graduated, yet still hang around school and spend their free time smoking pot and playing games? They don’t exist! It can’t be true! And if they do, I certainly don’t know any!
The flashback did make me try to figure out how it would have actually fit into the conversation. (The ontological location of the makeout flashback, if you will.) She ask a simple question and Logan goes: “Remember that time when we were going at it in the Xterra? Parked at school? And you were really into it? And I grabbed your ass and…” I can see how Veronica would find that bizarre and inappropriate. And yet somehow I find it totally believable for Logan… I just have one question: Do Logans dream of electric blue makeout flashbacks? Or just about themselves?
The “you thought the grass was greener” line… I swear there is dirtiness in there somewhere. And, seriously, why did he say “you’re too much man”? Is he just too flustered to snark properly? Because, aw. Veronica’s huffiness verbally emasculated him. Aw.
Other moments of love:
~Just when I think Brokeback jokes can no longer be funny… It was the finger-to-lips thing and Logan’s “if I don’t stop him, how far will he go?” look that really made it.
~The changing perceptions Veronica has of the bus crash victims. [“A rhinestone studded rainbow flag? Have you ever heard of butch?” Hee, and yet sad… ] I think it really reinforced that this was all in Veronica’s head, and nothing supernatural was going on.
~Wallace hits his espresso limit. Hee. Jittery Wallace is cute. I can see him hanging out with Logan now and excusing it to V. with “do you know he has an espresso machine?”
~Dick’s “Trust me, I’m rich” shirt. It seemed to fit thematically with “follow the money” and the newly cast suspicions on the Casablancas.
~Keith finding Veronica in the closet. “Yep, that’s mine.”
~Keith explaining “sometimes you have to kiss a lot of toads before you find your office manager…” whatever and Clemmons giving him this look like, “yeah, I know how it is with the ladies.” Hee, Clemmons.
~Logan’s faux clapping at Angie’s successful egg drop. He’s just, like, aiming his hands at each other and then stops. Hee.
I greatly enjoyed the episode (even at one a.m.), I just wish some of it had been sprinkled throughout the season. I liked that we got to learn a bit about Marcos in “Ahoy, Mateys!” but then we never got similar episodes for the other victims. (Random possible callback- the bus underwater in V.’s dreams, made me think of the bus in the Olivereses’ fish tank. Did Veronica know about that?) I just would have liked more reason to care about the bus crash throughout the season other than “sometimes it makes Veronica sad, but not too often, because that would be too much effort to write”. Of course this show could consist entirely of episodes of Dick and Logan playing Pong and I would watch obsessively. (Oh, come on, you know that would be totally gay and awesome.)
