(no subject)

perhaps you are wondering about the process that went into the artful poetry of my last post. Well wonder no longer. it was basically just type whatever comes into my head. then call is abstract to cover up the fact that it really hasn't been worked into anything sensible at all. Kind of looks like modern art no?

Actually i do 'get' some modern art. But you have to admit, some of it leaves you wondering about the authenticity of the artist's intention.

The intention of the aforementioned piece was to make a statement about the tenuous position art holds in the mind of modern man, the diaphanous boundaries that exist between subjective distinctions, and some other bs I just made up.

here is my next poem.

Meow
like a cat
I like to
meow
like a cat
meow
meow

it expresses my need to meow like a cat from time to time
an inner desire which stems from the deepest roots of animal progeny which exists in man whether he likes it or not. meow.

But let none of the above poetry fool you. I have real intentions to continue my work with actual poetry in the near future. Specifically, I want to work more with dream images using my dream journal for reference material. I've been having some fascinating dreams lately, dreams which have dissipated in the fog of time due to my lack of faithful dreamjournalling. But that will all change tonight, for what I dream this very night I shall record in the annals of a piece of paper near my bed, and thus cement my place in history as that guy who had a dream. Move over Martin Luther. You and your 'king'. For I shall be the new Luther. Like Morpheus, the king of dreams. Lupheus they shall call me.

Which reminds me, do you think there was some kind of subtext to the movie the matrix? I've thought about it over the last year or so (including taking a class which spent some time discussing the movie) and am led to believe so.

Geez I'm fatigued. I get tired and sleepy and woozy at night and yet stay up for hours after the onset of these fatigue symptoms surfing the internet. Is that bad for my brain or something?

Oh my I believe I have chapped my lip. That's no good. Okay I'm going to take a shower now and wash all the pizza grease from my skin. Which reminds me, here's a link for you to enjoy: link
