If you could buy a magic potion, what would it be?
So here’s the deal. Chances are really, really good that I’m immortal. I’ve got both Claire’s power and Adam’s power which I suspect are the same thing (now I’m wondering if anyone has told Claire this and whether I really should be the one to tell her).
Immortality is one of those things that sound great in theory but never work out for everyone in practice the way it’s supposed to. It will work and I will live forever but I’ll do it alone. One by one I’ll watch everyone I love die. It’ll be just me and Claire in the end and I’m not objecting to that but it’ll be lonely for both of us. It’s not hard to guess from the above what kind of magic potion I’d want.
The idea of forever is great if I can spend it with Sasha so I’d want a magic potion to make her immortal and I want one to save for Claire when she meets someone she wants to spend forever with.
