They were right back where they’d started. Peter was frustrated and angry. He’d spent over two years of his life chasing Sylar, trying to save the cheerleader, the world, the future from one mad man. He thought they’d moved on. He thought that they were concentrating on a different area but somehow everything had twisted so that he was standing on square one.
He wouldn’t have minded so much except he’s given up everything to be here. Sasha has given up everything. Claire has given her entire life and Nathan…things are too raw with Nathan to think about right now.
Peter wants to save the world. He wants to make it a better place, no matter how he does it but he also wants to make some progress.
