What is the most interesting manga you've ever read?

Let's see. My favorite manga aren't always the most interesting at the same time. I found that the ones that a really make an impression on me are those I have a lot of difficulty finishing. Right now, it's Moto Hagio's A Cruel God Reigns (which I've spent the past two years reading because it's so emotionally riveting without being cheesy).

Hagio's style is classic shoujo without the stereotypical shoujo flair. She has the ability to display emotions not only through the characters, but in the background art. The central theme to this manga is rape, so instead of going for explicit art, she actually employs plants and vine imagery to enhance the concept. It's very powerful.

What's one canon in camp that you don't play from, yet had made an impression on you?

The Percy Jackson books! And a bunch of others, which I have mostly forgotten - OH MOST OF THE GUNDAM/SPACE STUFF. Though at times I feel I prefer reading them in camp to watching them by themselves as robots and space generally disagree with me.

I'd like to thank you for not asking what sort was my favorite, because I'm a music plebe who can't even formulate a favorite genre. I tend to gravitate toward alternative rock, classical, and indie. I'll actually listen to whatever sounds good to me at the time, or whatever people throw at me, and I tend to like pop in general as long as the vocals are good and don't sound like everything else on the market.

And that wasn't terribly informative, so to name a few: Garnet Crow, Rilo Kiley, Vienna Teng, Rie Fu, and Nightwish.

What was your best RP experience before CFUD?

I played a lot at paixaorpg which I adored a lot, until it exploded with dramadrama. And I did a lot of one on one with Sian over aim.

Uhhh. You travel a lot, right? What's your favorite mode of transportation?

I used to do a lot of one on one myself, but it came with a lot of problems, too. I decided to branch out and try something different.

Trains! I rarely get motion sickness on train trips, and it's almost relaxing a way. This also has to do with my favorite trips having trains in them. That, and we don't really have trains back home.
