Oh Wow...
So it has been....almost a year since I last posted on LiveJournal. Things have changed, yet again. The picture above is from almost a year ago, when Mike and I started dating again. It was a rough month, when we were separated, but after we reconciled things have been 1,000 times better and we are both much happier. We needed a lot of time apart for introspection and figuring out what we really wanted out of our relationship or if we wanted our relationship at all. I was so out of my mind with happiness when he came back (which he did on his own, I never did reach out and try to push him either way). I now know that I can live on my own if I need to, and some how that makes our relationship more secure.
Mike now works in the gas and oil field again, and is often not home. He can be gone out of town for up to 2 months at a time. It is very hard for me when he is gone and even though I thought it would get easier and easier as time went on, but somehow it just gets harder and harder. I do get to travel to see him, which is about a 4 1/2 hour drive. That's nice, but we are usually at his boss's house which sort of sucks because I'm not a huge fan of his boss or his boss's old lady.
Another huge change in my life, we moved. We now live in his parent's house (with out his parents, they moved to Mississippi). The house is a piece of shit, but it's on 12 acres of land, which is awesome. I can have my coffee in a t-shirt and my undies on the front porch if I want and no one knows the wiser. It also means that other things can happen out doors, but we'll leave that to the imagination.
The house came with their dog, Bear, who I love to death now. We also now have a beautiful little cat (actually not little he's pretty giant for being less than a year old) named Ivan and will soon be getting another one who was just born. The new baby will be Huck if a boy and Eden if a girl. I am sort of getting scared that I'm going to be one of those people that fills her home with pets until she gets children.
