selamat hari raya and happy birthday pa
first and foremost, SELAMAT HARI RAYA EVERYONE!! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAD (his birthday is today and he's so proud of it because he thinks he gave malaysia, qatar and arab countries a public holiday. he's in qatar, by the way) and happy belated birthday to my baby brother, hakim (1st november)
well, raya didn't quite work out for me at first. i woke up late (on purpose heheh), so i didn't semayang raya. i ate breakfast, beraya with my aunt and grandma, then no one came, so i slept for about 3 hours? until 1 or 2. then worked on a vector (which i am still working on now).
then at around 4, i started calling my friends who's kampung is in kedah. called huzai (he's in penang), but he didn't answer. called balqhis, but she tak balik kampung. so i called azfar instead. he's in alor setar, and i told him i nak beraya with him. he, as usual, excitedly said yes. so i heret my cousin to alor setar. turns out nisa was there (nisa is azfar's cousin and also my uitm mate).
it took us about 30minutes to get there, or a bit longer because i took the junction to alor setar selatan instead of utara. then pergi we ate at mcdonald's city plaza (after trying to find starbucks, tapi tak jumpa hahaha). around 7, we headed back to sungai petani, but got lost again. i didn't know there was sungai petani selatan and sungai petani utara (damn these kedah highways). so we had to turn back. minah kat tol tu cakap to take the left lane, which we did, but ended up going back to alor setar. you see, from her position, it IS the left lane, but from our postion pulak, it's supposed to be right. damn her for not noticing that. and damn me for not looking at the signboard. so we took an extra 30 minutes to get back home.
reached home, terus main mercun. finished up everything we had and even had a competition with the neighbour (who can make more noise). naik geram so we decided to burn 2 mercuns at the same time. haha TAKE THAT!
che ap's girlfriend came over. so kena jadi driver and bawa the two lovebirds jalan-jalan around sungai petani. lucky me i didn't get lost. *grins* che ap's going to his girlfriend's house tomorrow at penang. if huzai's still there, then most probably i'll be going too.
