GLASSJAW WAS AWESOME!!! it was a major rush and majorly majorly awesome.
So here's how it went down:
Bobby and i got there a little bit later and we missed the opening band. The show was sold out so the place was packed. We were up on the second floor with a pretty crappy view. the curtain went up and Glassjaw started their set. Suddenly i get a tap on the shoulder and this guy says "i can hook you up with a better view". so Bobby and i shrug to one another and follow this guy....TO THE OPERA BOOTHS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE STAGE. right fuckin' there! there was only 2 people in there. we couldn't fucking believe it. it was so awesome. I shook the man's hand. so we had a real kick ass view of the stage. Daryl made eye contact with us. He looked like Jesus in a leather jacket.
they played 3 new songs (they have a new cd coming out!!) and alot of tracks off Worship and Tribute. i sang myself raw.
after the show bobby and i ran into the guy who let us into the booth and we gave him a hug. He said his name was Joe and said that we should find him again if we are at another House of Blues show. :-) .definately.
