Dear Distributor of Scene Points,
I hope this letter finds you in good spirits. I'm just checking up on when I might be able to expect that deposit of scene points you promised me. I've done everything you've asked me: joined countless street teams, posted "check out this band" references on every message board I can find (though I admit, I haven't always posted in the "promo" section since no one ever really reads it), and have tried to find at least five bands that would be the "next big thing," just so I knew about them first and could rub it in to my friends. So what's the hold up? What else do I need to do? Should I try to join a webzine and post news about cool bands? Does it matter if it's the same news that other sites post? I mean, I'd still get the scene points that way right?
Also, I have another problem. I was writing lyrics down for my new band, and just like my favorite band, they're about killing girls that don't love me anymore and burying their bodies somewhere near the river. Now obviously, I don't really mean that, since, well, who doesn't love the ladies, but anyway, doesn't it sound all emotional?!? Well, whatever, my Mom saw the lyrics on my desk and now she thinks I'm troubled and should see a doctor. Any advice to help me get out of that?
Thanks!
Travis
