a lot of people in chicago have been talking about the smoking ban since it just went into effect here in chicago. so in honor of discourse i will throw in my two cents

i'm registered in Ohio and yes i did vote against it when it came up on the ballot there.

anyway, i was just curious cause you used the term 'facist' regarding an issue that was voted on by the general public. i'm also willing to bet most people that are bitching about this (at least the ones we know) did not vote to try and stop it.

completely understandable about the whole use of "fascist" and i used the word knowing it was barely a half truth and also very much an attention getter.

if there was anyone willing to put a bet up against you, i would try and get in on it as well, because i also agree that most of the people who complain about things never vote on them
