~this is the 2nd book from Elizabeth Boyle that i read. my friend suggest me to read this book. and i love it. Felicity isn't like the usual heroine in Historical Romance, she's brave, smart and reckless :).
For couple years felicity believe that she's corresponding with the Duke of Hollindrake and got engaged eventhough she never met the man. Now she decided to met her Duke and must use her brain to achieve her goal because she doesn't have enough money to live through the Season until her Duke came to fetch her.
Thacher, the current Duke of Hollindrake return home from the war and got himself a fiancee that he never met. Without a further delay he rush to the house which Felicity admit she's borrow to broke off the engagement. But because his disheveled appearance, Felicity assumes Thatcher is there for the footman position. Thatcher try to explained who he is but he doesn't have the opportunity.
After couple days act as her new footman Thacher found the reason behind his grandfather decision to wrote those letters and choose felicity as his wife.
I can't stop laughing when i try to imagine how hard Thacher try to explain who he is and what he's doing in front of Felicity's house in the middle of the day but Felicity never gave him opportunity and just give him order as her new footman :).
