Okay, so. Morrolan comes from a culture where basically everyone is a shounen retard; more specifically, he comes from a House which is second-most genetically disposed to shounen retarditude. I imagine that Ronan's going to end up in a duel VERY QUICKLY. I'm gonna ask that he not be killed because ... well, you know the canon. You know what happens when Ronan dies.
Anyone else, just ask, but he's going to ping and vice versa. God why am I telling you this, you know already.

If it comes down to it, Morrolan's probably skilled enough in actual fighting to beat Ronan without actually killing him -- he's had three or four hundred years to practice, after all, and Ronan doesn't know him well enough to REALLY hit his triggers. Probably. Or Verra could tell him to leave the kid alive out of professional courtesy or something. WE WILL BE DISCUSSING IF WE FIGHT I HAVE NO DOUBT. But Y, ping and counterping.

Considering that I don't think there is such an institution as duelling or sparring in the YWverse, he's going to have. An interesting wake-up call. "I have to do what? Since when? That's barbaric! I'm not doing tha -- oh no, he really is going to kill me with a sword." Verra may have to ask very nicely that he not die in order that he, you know, actually live to make the end of book eight.

Well, Morrolan won't attack unless he accepts the challenge and draws the Spear, so being like "oh fuck no I'm not doing that" and refusing to draw a weapon is actually a valid out. Morrolan will never, ever respect Ronan if he backs down, mind.

He is perfectly okay with avatars of other powers etc etc. thinking that he's a pretty lousy choice for the WD. 'Tis his modus operandi!
