Moon Cake Festival

Sep 28, 2004 23:12

Honestly, the moon cake festival is just another excuse for the Chinese community to eat. In the eyes of a chinese, everything that we do is so that time passes till the next time we can eat. We love money, cause money buys us nice meals.

Talking about nice meals, the 'Man' brought me out for dinner in this 'kopitiam' next to Chong and Law <--(what a fucking dodgy makan place with Rats bigger than my feet). We had sambal fish and 1/2 a kg worth of fresh prawns. It was a really really good meal. After dinner, the 'Man', louis, and I went for a tradional 'moon cake festival' walk around the neighbourhood (without the lanterns of course). Then we had tea and mooncake infront of the tv. I miss my family.

Hmmm ... i'm hungry again. What should I eat?
