Noizy Minority's Big Day Out
The RM150 spent today was worth it!
Rendezvous point: 1 pm Curtin Cafeteria.
I was on time just to see no one there. Thought to myself: Fuck this is going to suck!
First Noizy Minority's Big Day Out and everyone is late. Made a few calls and slowly everyone came. Not as many as I hoped, but the crowd was just good enough and actually better than expected. Attendees were The 'Big Show' Siu, Dian the Bruneian Smoker Girl, Kc and Vj representing West Malaysia, Deputy Finance of Brunei's son Iqbal and my aneroxia ex Ling. Our first stop was Pizza Hut for lunch where we had 4 regular Pizza, 3 jugs of pepsi, 8 mushroom soups, lagsana, spaghetti, 6 chicken wings and a variety of deep fried food. Lunch was on me so 30% of my monthly salary was robbed by Pizza Hut. There was no talk about Noizy Minority or work, just laughter and sick jokes (esp hentai stories). Cleo Magazine's Bachelor Number 1's little brother Marc joined us for lunch too.
After lunch and a good ciggy break, we headed off to the bowling alley. I divided us into 2 teams and had a bowling competition. The loser had to buy the winning team drinks. It was my team (Smoker Girl, Deputy Finance's Son, Bachelor number 1's little brother) vs. aneroxic ex's team(the BIG SHOW, the West Malaysians). Aneroxic ex played amazingly well, causing my team to lose the competition. Fuck! Heng niah! I scored a turkey so I was pleased with my game. Bowling was a better idea than watching 'The Sisters' in the cinema. Deputy of Finance's son couldn't watch horror films, apparently he has a 'third eye'. Intriguing. (Just switched on the lights in my room, I'm a little freaked out remembering what he told me. I'm such a pussy).
Left for esplanade after the game. Haven't been there in ages. The fried sotong was still as good as ever. Had to force it in, the Pizza Hut meal left little room for more food. Saw the sunset together, it was great and chilling.
Had dinner at taman selera. Continued stuffing myself senseless with satay, chickin wings, 'kerang', corn soup and fried rice. Again, more dirty jokes during dinner. There was talk about going to Brunei for future NM's Big Day Out! Most likely I won't be able to join them, but I kept that to myself and enjoyed the conversation. I'm sure it'll be fun.
Nobody wanted to watch a movie after dinner, or atmosphere for that matter. Once again, a miss opportunity to check atmosphere out. So, we decided to come over to my place. They watched my whole Triumph the Insult Dog and SNL collection. They loved it. Watched some Tiesto concerts and music video. Miss clubing. It's been awhile since I've felt my house being the hang out place. Some people were watching soccer in the living room, some smoking at the back with Louis, and the rest listening to music in my room.
Everyone headed back at 12. Can't wait for the next Big Day Out! (2 weeks from now).
