Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance @ Cinespace
The first installment in Chanwook Park's trilogy of revenge movies comes "Sympathy for Mr Vengeanace". You might be familiar with Mr. Park's second and more well known contribution "oldboy", but unlike that film "Sympathy for Mr Vengeanace" does not have the MTV like editing and sarcastic humor of "oldboy". "Sympathy" is completely brutal, angry, and unapologetic. There is no real antagonist or protagonist in this film. No one to root for or against. The only major stars in this movie is violence and revenge.
