Sometimes, I say something nice.

CTV deserves nothing but praise for their coverage of the Olympics. They own several channels, and made use of all of them, ensuring that you could watch the entirety of any event you wanted. Over the internet, you could access live feeds of all of the channels, as well as the world feeds which provided up to the minute results, all the scores and the current standings in addition to raw footage of every minute of the event.

They had tons of amazing commentators - and always included people who had actually played each sport. The features were well done and the interviews were great. My top three interviews have to be Alexandre Bilodeau after his win, John Montgomery after his medal ceremony (including his triumphant walk through Whistler sipping from a pitcher of beer) and Johnny Weir. OMG, Johnny Weir, first he told the interviewer that his fantasy response to the ignorant Quebec commentators would be to skate up to them, pull pepper spray out of his "cleavage" and spritz them in the face and then he was an even better sport when he willingly sat next to her and re-created a wonky mid-jump "skating face". What a personality!

I hope they make every dime back that they invested and a healthy profit on top. They deserve it.
