Since Last We Saw Our Intrepid Heroes
We have regained the ownership of our Sienna! That is a long story for another time, but after a year of stress, we officially have it registered in our name again and have the title in our possession. That is a massive headache we can put in the past and eventually laugh about.
James has been tentatively offered a very nice job! This one also won't get any more details until it is more than tentative, but this could be very good for us. It could mean a lot loss money going out, and a lot more money coming in.
The music video is... going. Little by little it gets closer to done, but it still feels like it will never end. I still feel like I have a massive amount to learn and not enough time or energy to learn it.
We just purchased, and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of, our full frame Blackmagic cinema camera! I also got the adapter for EF canon lenses, and a small "nifty fifty" cheap 50 mm lens to start playing with. Now begins my journey as a budding cinematographer - the first of many steps to making all of the adaptations I want to see in the world. Next on the docket is lights...
We will be flying east for Christmas this year. It has been many years since the last time, years before COVID which makes it seem even longer. This will probably be the last time for a while, so it is important. I'm nervous about leaving home; I'm nervous about travel; I'm nervous about COVID... but it needs to happen.
