(no subject)
Well, I did promise pictures of this. I also hereby promise that there will be far better pictures tomorrow or soon thereafter, when I can actually get the little guy into some decent lighting. By the time I finished painting him, there wasn't any sun left to speak of.
So have you guessed who it is, yet?
Like I said, better pictures forthcoming. But this is exciting! My little Al-baby is back and fresh and new :3 He arrived on Thursday, after a brief stop in Ohio, and I just finished painting him this afternoon. As you can see, I decided to go ahead and order the sleeping head with him, and I love it way more than I ever could have predicted :o It's just so cute! And it's nice to see Al looking peaceful and happy, too :) I'm still not completely satisfied with the look of him, but I think I'll get used to it. Seorin is a much more detailed sculpt than Ttori, so there are shadows and nuances and realisms I don't expect to find on Al, but they're not bad, I'm just not used to them yet. He needs a lot of new clothes. I did have the good sense to order some mini fee sized khakis for him in the same box, but those are currently his only properly fitting pants, and even they pop open at the button when he sits. Whose idea were these hips on a boy, seriously? But he does finally fit the silver torc I always intended him to wear, so that's nice :3
All in all, yay! The MNF body (I got the B-line a la carte system, because the A-line is just way too muscular for Al) is gorgeous, if not particularly posable, and his little bitty hands are precious *3*
