Anime Expo Report!!!
For those who care about these silly reports, here is my report for the most awesome anime con EVAR!!
Day 1: Thursday!! I went as Tsunade. Low and behold, people took my picture in that silly cosplay. Everyone was super nice!! The con itself was HUGE!! The LA convention center is a lot bigger then anything that I have ever seen before. The dealers room was a little bigger then Otakon's. I bought way to much stuff there. A lot of amazing costumes, even on the first day. Went to a few panels, nothing to grand. There is a sub shop a little less then a block away from the convention center with amazing sandwiches.
Day 2: Friday!! I went as White Mage! I have to say that I was the best one there, lol. I made a pretty awesome costume for Mandy! I don't know how many times my picture was taken. I was even invited to go to the Final Fantasy shoot later that day. There were so many Final Fantasy characters, they had to break it down to the games. I went with the first one because that was a fairly good size group. Good thing I did because FF 2 & 3, no one was cosplaying anything. It was pretty cool to see all those different games come together for pictures. Went to the dealers room and a few more panels, enjoying the rest of the day.
Day 3: Saturday!! I went as Card Captor Sakura! I had my picture taken but not as much as the others. Its alright. Everyone was really nice, unlike on this side of the country where everyone says things about your costumes. Everyone was just really happy to see that people still enjoyed the older anime. ^_^ We went to the premier of Gundam Unicorn. I didn't think it was gonna be good, but Drew really wanted to see it. Turns out, that Gundam show is pretty kick ass! We decided that we were gonna have to get it when it comes out. We went to the dealers room once again and bought more stuff. There was this little family with two boys who were dressed like Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. They were the cutest things ever!
Day 4: Sunday!! I finally cosplayed Sexy no Jutsu! Let me tell ya, people still love that character. We made our rounds through the dealers room one more time. Took some pictures of amazing cosplays and then said our goodbyes. It was sad leaving this con. I have never been to anything like it in my life!!
I must say that if you ever get the chance, go to Anime Expo!! Its better then anime convention out there!! I am definitely going back next year!! July 1-4 again for 2011!!! See ya there!
