What A Day
So, I woke up this morning to some rather hard news to bear. My brother and sister are currently in the pediatric intensive care unit because some time last night around 4:30am, they were involved in a horrible car accident.
My brother has two broken ribs, a bruised lung, some internal bleeding around his kidney ( but that is stabilizing ), a broken cheekbone, and is currently having to use a ventilator to breath.
My sister is suffering some scrapes and bruises and is in and out of consciousness.
Their friend that was driving has a broken femur and has stitches in his head.
None of them were wearing seat belts. We are very fortunate that they are all still living. However, none the less, this day has been rather stressful. Please keep them in your prayers and thoughts.
One other thing...ALWAYS WEAR A SEAT BELT!
