Back In Florida

I have survived my trip! For those of you who didn't know about the winter storm up north, I was in it. We had 18 inches of snow!! It was crazy! It snowed on my friend's wedding day which made things quite crazy! But it was really awesome to see all of that snow. It was an adventure to get from the church to the reception hall. We had to go up mountains in almost blizzard like condition, in the dark. O.O It was crazy! I am so happy that Drew's mom was driving, lol. She grew up in Buffalo, NY. It helped a lot to have someone who knew about these horrible weather conditions. I had never seen snow fall before in my life. It snowed here in Jacksonville when I was three, but it was nothing like what I saw on Saturday. I built a snowman ( for you Mandy ) and everything. Philly got almost 2 feet! I think I have seen my share of snow now. Haha.

But yes, I have come back on one piece. It seems that Florida is having colder temperatures. 50 is better then 20 I must say. I miss how snow looks, but not the bitter cold. I am happy to live in a place that doesn't have to go through that. Snow plows and salt trucks. We don't have those down here, lol.

Its really scary to be on a runway completely covered in ice! We flew Southwest, which is a good airline. My only issue is that you can assign your seats. I didn't have a window seat and was a little scared. Drew was the calm one of this flight, haha. I am sure that will be the only time that is gonna happen. We had to deal with one family trying to cut in front of us in the Philly airport. There was a rather upset woman who ended up getting them out of line. It was funny, but I didn't want laugh then for fear of her wrath, lol.

Anyways, I am really sleepy. Even though, I slept a long time. I am just exhausted. I feel as though I have just come home from a con. I am gonna go take a nap now. Tomorrow I have to finish my Christmas shopping and wrap everything. Farewell all!
