We are moving to DENVER!!
Matt applied for a few jobs. One on BC and one in Denver.
They both gave him a test assignment. He did well on both.
The one in Denver thought he did really well. They asked for a phone interview. The phone interview turned in to an invite to come out and look for properties.
They are paying for us both to come out for 5 days. Airfare, hotel and car included.
We will be in town January 25 - 29.
OMG!
This is exactly what we wanted. But now Im scared to death. Suddenly, I love our home - we put about 20K in to it in the last year: finished the basement, new windows, driveway. And now we have to try and sell it - most likely for a loss :(
But we have to do this. We're just bleeding here. I dont have a job and health insurance for myself alone costs 500$ a month.
The new job pays really well. And there are actual jobs available in Denver for me. The weather is better!
So, I guess its apartment living for about 6 months. Until we sell this house and can purchase a new one there! I suppose it will take some time to figure out the city. Thank God for GPS!
