So, today is the day. The election day, I mean. My ballot should by now safely be in the hands of the returning officer. Well, I doubt he's actually wandering around with my particular ballot in his hands, but whatever. I really hope the World Service have some sort of special minute-by-minute thing so I can lsiten, although the first results won't be in until about 2am, so I can go to a party that's on tonight beforehand. Actually, maybe I won't go to the party.

Tomorrow I'm going with my Refugee in International Law class to visit the UN in Prague, which is uber cool. And then, for some reason, I am going on the International Church of Prague (which is the church I go to) Spring Retreat. I am confused as to how this happened, but have decided to go along anyway. Flatmate was meant to be going but then remembered her family and boyfriend would be here, as if that was any sort of excuse. I know a grand total of one person who's going, but then I do know a grand total one one person at the church (apart from flatmate), so that's a 100% record.

Also, my friend Sarah (who's from Walla Walla, Washington. No, it's a real [place. And furthermore, the Eastern part of Washingotn, which is where she lives, sort of wants to secede from the West, even though the West is richer and thus subsidises the East. Sarah is not supportive of this move. A new thing every day, eh?) is applying to go to Glasgow to study Slavonic studies, which would be rather spiffing.

Oh, I heard a joke about Canada, but I don't know if it works in writing and also it only works if you know about the way Canadians are meant to speak, which I assume at least Alex does. So, the Founding Fathers were trying to decide what to call what is now Canada, and they had the great idea of putting random letters in a hat and pulling them out. So they put the letters in, mixed them up and then one guy began pulling them out. And he went: "C, eh? N, eh? D, eh?" HAHAHAHA. OK, perhaps just ha.
