Right, well, I'm still in Prague. All things considered, that isn't a massive surprise, since I wasn't meant to be leaving, but whatever.

So, nothing is happening again. I've been invited to a leaving dinner sort of thing tonight, even though I don't really know the girl who's leaving, but she invited me so who am I to complain? There are really only 2 of my friends left in the halls, Stefie and Fredrik, and to be honest I hardly talk to Fredrik, which is unfortunate since Stefie is going to Germany for 10 days on Thursday. These Germans, eh?

I'm trying to read stuff for some essay about nationalism. It's not going that well. I don't like having to make up my own essay questions because it means I don't know if it's actually possible to answer them or not, and also means that I don't actually know what it is yet. What an exciting life I do lead.

My brain doesn't seem to be working properly today. I feel tired even though I should've had enough sleep.

I have, however, recently discovered the BBC World Service. I just got a radio, you see. Czech radio is...interesting. The presenters often sound young and hip (see, I'm down with the kids), but confusingly the only music they seem to play is either old (usually no younger than 15 years) or country, or both. Apart from possibly the Czech stuff, but I can't tell how old that is. They do like to translate songs into Czech, too, so I had the delight of hearing "Go West" sung by camp Czechs instead of camp Brits. Perhaps I'm listening to the wrong radio stations or something. But the BBC world service is a bit of a revelation. They do things which please me (huhhuh). For example, when they have the headlines every half an hour, they change them slightly each time, so you don't hear exactly the same angle on each story all the time. Radio 1 could learn from that, I tell you. Even if they can be a bit Radio 4-ish.
