Got Eddie back. Spent much time making out with him metaphorically speaking. He's beautiful. And mine. And home. I am in, in short, in love.
Got back to Whitewater to find my pipes froze. Later found one burst, too. Have had no water since just after midnight. Found a stalagmite of ice in Sam's bathtub growing from the dripping faucet. Found ice in toilet bowl and tank as well. House is too cold. Electric blanket is heavenly.
Met new property manager guy named Jim. Love him. Fixed pipe. Changed air filter. Adjusted heating vents to give me more heat. Lamented the coldness of our house. Love him!
He and his partner have the attractiveness that comes with age and wisdom. They are much better than Tim - yes, Jim replaced Tim. Tim also replaces Tom as the go between. Sadly, no replacement for Joe yet.
No need to go home or Heather's to shower or do laundry. I will have water in a matter of minutes!
