A new year?
My new year started with the beginning of the school year. This just feels like another day before another night with my friends into another day. I've always felt this way about new years, even Y2K.
Tomorrow only will be different in the sense I date my paper 05 instead of 04. I mean when I wake up tomorrow, I'll still be 16, I'll still be a junior, everything will be the same. Any new years resolution I feebly attempt to carry out through the new year won't last. It never does. It's like giving something up for Lent, you only do it because you feel obligated to do something to improve your life.

ps: it takes the earth 365.25 days to revolve around the sun. So technically we should be celebrating the new year at 6 AM, but where's the fun in that?
