Since I don't have a cat or any other person here to talk to
20 year old female presented to the emergency department today with complaint of being misunderstood by her parents and being Korean in Longview, Washington. We went into the room and the patient was there with her mother. When asked what had brought her to the ED today the patient stated "I don't want to be here." It was obvious to me what she meant by that but the doctor.. maybe she just wanted to be sure, but she did not read the situation quite as readily. I also knew quite early into it that the patient was not going to speak frankly with her mother in the room.
I have been giving my manager a hard time with scheduling. I tried to submit my notice of resignation for the second time and she again contacted the manager and the owner of the company and told me that I had to stay through October. Fine. Whatever. I do not need nor am I expecting an enthusiastic letter of recommendation from her. We will never quite understand each other. The word "perky" was developed with people like her in mind.
The other day I was working as an Epic tutor. A job I like.... meh. I don't feel like finishing this.
