Back to work
Yesterday was the first real sign that school is starting very soon. We had a retreat yesterday to get to know all our fellow teachers at the new school. Everyone seemed very nice. We were there from 8am until 330pm. Long day, but at least we were fed and kept somewhat busy. I have another school based meeting on Friday and then the conference next week.
Watched the Tour this morning. I have been watching everyday but have been neglectful in my updates. I am sure you were all very sad about that. Anyway, yesterday Landis got himself back in the yellow jersey. Today, he dropped all the way back into 11th place overall. That is over 8 minutes behind the leader.
Finally, I have a photo of the scarf that I finished ahwile back. Here it is all blocked and folded, ready to be put away until winter. I also finished another scarf and a hat using this yarn. I frogged this initial attempt and changed it to 1x1 ribbing and then added fringe to the ends. Both are very warm and cozy. The hat is a bit big, but all it needs is the ribbing folded up.
That is about it. I have decided to do absolutely nothing today since pretty soon it will be back to work and I won't be able to do nothing anymore. TV, movies and laying on the couch are in the forecast for today.
