AND HOUSE/CUDDY GIVE YOU BUTTERFLIES. HAD THEM DURING THE LAST SCENE (I knew we were going to find out about Cuddy adopting, but I thought it was going to be revealed in "Joy" and I wasn't expecting it here AT ALL) AND ALLLLLL OF "JOY" (JOY DAY, REALLY).

I WONDERED A FEW TIMES IF I SHOULD STRETCH IT OUT A LITTLE, RATHER THAN POST ALL AT ONCE. BUT I STILL HAVE 5X03 AND "JOY" TO DO, SO WHY NOT?

Same thought! I'm guessing he just went into spy mode. He clearly had no interest in pretending that he WASN'T following them. He looked like he was on the brink of shedding a tear, so I'm sure they were useful there, too.

The last scene was gorgeous. I love everything it implied -- that House's comments in FJ really did have an effect on their relationship/trust on this particular issue, and I got the impression from Cuddy's reaction to Wilson that she probably deliberately told Wilson not to tell anyone, perhaps House in particular. I loved that Wilson wanted House to be in on this, but really didn't anticipate how House would react to it. I LOVED HOW CUDDY'S EYES STAYED ON HOUSE'S AS WILSON TRIED TO PLAY INNOCENT. And House's face... boy was crushed. I came out of this episode wondering how the hell Hugh Laurie DOES NOT have an Emmy for this show.

I knew about the adoption too, but like you, I thought it was going to be revealed in Joy. Apparently not. And I was floored when this scene came on in the end. I was like OMG WHAT. YESSSS. OMG. A;SLKDFJA;WOIEFJA;SLKDF HAHA.

5X03 AND 5X06 WILL BE WORTH THE WAIT. YOU ARE ALREADY AMAZING ENOUGH FOR GETTING LIKE THREE EPS UP TONIGHT. SERIOUSLY. AMAZING.

Yeah, those sunglasses came in handy at the end. Poor guy. I wanted to hug House. He looked crushed that he wasn't told and that he could possibly lose Cuddy. He just got Wilson back only for the only other person in his inner circle to bail out (in his mind at least because there's no way Cuddy would really leave House). And yes, I love that there were repercussions of FJ. I don't blame her for not telling him everything seeing he would either turn it into a joke or completely talk her out of it or be cruel. Or all three. I just want to hug them all.

Yes, I thought it was interesting that Wilson wanted House to know. I also wonder if this was her roundabout way of letting House know as well. He would've eventually found out. Buuut, you're right, her reaction looked like she wanted this kept between her and Wilson. It was also Wilson's way of getting House in the loop for God knows why and not completely breaking Cuddy's confidence because he technically didn't tell House...

HOW DOES HUGH LAURIE NOT HAVE AN EMMY? ESPECIALLY SINCE THE S4 FINALE? AND NOW THIS NEW SEASON? AND LE? WTF. WTF MAN.

I think Cuddy might've been happy to wait until the last minute possible to tell House. He's able to get to her like no one else can, and maybe she thought he wouldn't be supportive (or Cuddy knew she was unsure and could expect House to pick up on that and needle her about it). What I found really interesting is that House didn't know about it even though he had the PI looking into everyone's (non)business and following Wilson around. He was looking for something on Cuddy -- maybe Lucas isn't that good? ;)

I don't know. No Emmy for Hugh and no nominations (at least) for LE and RSL, NOT. COOL.

Yeah! Lucas! I mentioned that in one of my little reviews I think. How did Lucas not find out? Maybe he wasn't as good as everyone though, but I still found it interesting that there was no mention whatsoever of this adoption beforehand. You would think Lucas would've said something vague. I dunno.
