sometimes I wanted to cry when the people on tv were not quite the way we were
I had a private screening of Repo! The Genetic Opera tonight. Just me, myself and an empty cinema. It was kinda funny. Just another great example of how my social life sucks. Once in a long long time I decide to go out among the people and people decide to stay home :D
But the movie was amaaaaaaaazing :) Everything I was expecting and a lot more! It was pretty and slightly disgusting, funny and sad, with great visual style and awesome music (well, I know that, I spend two months listening to the soundtrack on repeat) and great cast. Alexa Vega was excellent (she has really gorgeous voice), so was Sarah Brightman and Terrance Zdunich as Graverobber. I even loved Paris Hilton and that's something I will never ever say again :D And Anthony Head! Nobody should be this gorgeous at 54, covered in blood and up to elbows in somebody's chest! Legal Assasin was probably my most favourite part. I love that song and it was incredible how easily he was able to switch between two completly different characters (there's a great behind the scene video somewhere on the official site if you're interested ;)
I'm off to bed now. I have to study tomorrow :(
