happy fathers day!!
it;'s been a while, whatev... work got worse, then better, but i have a sneaking suspicion its not gonna be too fun this week. i dunno why. the new guy cut himself the very first time he picks up a knife while employed by us. i was watching him thinking "you are going to cut off a hand by the end of a summer if thats how you hold a knife..." and as soon as i opened my mouth to say "hey watch your thumb" he goes and cuts it. it wasn't even a bad cut... i cut my hand open 2 weeks ago and i was like "oh, whoops" and i went an washed iut off, wrapped it up, put a glove on, and went about my merry way. no, not this one... from the way he was reacting i was sure he had nearly cut his finger off. but then i saw it, and it was abt 1/3 the size of the cut i did 2 weeks ago. whaa? kind of sad. he was acting like he was gonna pass out or throw up... i dunno what that was all about... an then he goes "man... and i'm so good with knives usually!" an i had to walk away b/c i didn't know if i was going to laugh or cry or just freak out, lolol...
he's also been acting way superior and won't listen to a thing i tell him he needs to do. even though i'm still training him an he's only been there a week. but of course, he knows WAY more about running the place than i do... okay.
in other news, i leave w/ aaron's family for his brother's wedding in MO on thursday which will be a nice break from FL and i get to wear new clothes, haha... sweet!! i have 2 new dresses and some shorts and 3 new skirts i can wear... i'm excited. new clothes do that to me, lol.
sarah and i sent jessie the most amazing package last week. we covered it in duct tape and foam dinosaur stickers and it was breathtaking...
well i should go since i have an early gym date w/ kristin... yay!
